Inspiring people with disability to

live a great life   & doing our bit to  create a  healthier, happier, more  inclusive & understanding community

Who we are...

Everyday Champions is a Canberra-based social enterprise that aims to support people with a disability to live a great life and do our bit to create a more understanding and inclusive community.

We run activities, programs and events that promote healthier lifestyles, increased social engagement and greater community inclusion.

Our goal is to do things a bit differently - to treat people with a disability as active and contributing members of society. This means reinventing how support is delivered for people with a disability so their 'support worker' is more of a coach or mentor - not a carer.

You might say we're on a mission to help people with a disability set and achieve important life goals, make healthy lifestyle choices and feel like valued members of their local community.

What we do...

Our vision is to inspire people with a disability to live a great life and do our bit to create a healthier, happier, more inclusive and understanding community. We do this by providing individual supports for NDIS participants using a life coaching framework and support workers who are more like coaches or mentors.

We also run programs, activities and events designed to promote healthier lifestyles, increased social engagement, greater community inclusion and the chance for people with disability to build their self-confidence, sense of self worth and feel like valued members of their local community.

A key component of the Everyday Champions vision is to be champions for inclusion. Our big focus is in sport, recreation and fitness, and we are building websites, developing education and awareness programs and building other great initiatives to help contribute to a community where people with a disability are healthy and active.
